Where should you live in the Sunshine Coast?

  • Main Beach

Main Beach It is a beach with good waves you can take and is full of restaurants where you can work in hospitality, but otherwise, it is quite quiet.

  • Surfers paradise

it has become the nerve centre where everything happens. Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, people and beach. If you want to be in the core of the Gold Coast, this is your neighbourhood.

  • Coolangatta

OKAY friends, now yes: we have reached the area where better waves you will find from all over Australia, so prepare the table. Some names for you to pry: Kirra, Greenmount, Snapper Rocks, Tugun, Rainbow Bay, Duranbah.

  • Southport

It does not have much apart from a large commercial fence and the many language schools that have chosen to be here. It is perhaps too quiet, but it all depends on your tastes.

  • Broadbeach

It is quite touristic because it has many hotels and all kinds of services. It is also known for a large number of green areas where it is very popular to practise outdoor sports.

  • Burleigh heads

t is one of the least known and therefore, with the least number of tourists. In addition, it is more than recommended for you, surfer.

Although we have said that the weather is stable, you may encounter peaks. So, do not forget to throw a sweater in the suitcase for the winter and a fan for the summer where it can reach 40 degrees.

Despite its name, Surfers Paradise is not the best destination to get settled if you are looking for waves. Better Burleigh Heads, or Coolangatta, for example.

Just like Brisbane, you’ll need your Go Card to get around, but you may find it cheaper and sometimes more convenient to buy a second-hand bike.
