What are the requirements to study in Australia?

Get the student visa (Subclass 500)

The Subclass 500 student visa is a type of visa that allows you to study in Australia while working part-time.

The subclass 500 visa is not the only option that exists. If you come for less than 3 months you can also get a tourist visa or a work and holiday visa, with which you can also study and work in Australia.

  • General English:This course is designed to improve your everyday English for work, study and travel purposes.
  • PTE Preparation: The Pearson Tests of English or (PTE) is an English test that is trusted around the world by colleges, universities and governments.
  • Cambridge English: These courses are for students who already have a good foundation of General English.
  • IELTS Preparation: IELTS is accepted by most academic institutions where English is the primary language, and is also used for immigration purposes.

University in Australia

University and Higher Education courses provide you with a higher level of qualification that will enhance your future career not only in Australia, but anywhere in the world.

All Higher Education degrees require English proficiency through either IELTS Academic, TOEFL, iBT, PTE Academic or CAE. Which level of English is required for enrolment into your course will differ based on which degree you desire to study.

How much does it cost to study in Australia?

Student visa price

Get a student visa to study in Australia costs 620 AUD.

If you also want to include your partner, it has an additional cost of 460 AUD more, that is, 1080 AUD in total.

If you want to include your children, it has an additional cost of 150 AUD for each one of them.

Price of the course you choose

This depends a bit on what you want to study, but we will give you an approximate cost for the different educational options you have.

English courses range from AUD 150 to AUD 290 per week, with the total cost depending on the total duration of the course, the type of course and its timetable.

The cost of the University and Masters in Australia ranges from AUD 22,000 to AUD 35,000 per year. Although it may be somewhat more expensive than in your home country, it is cheaper than in the UK or the US, and Australian universities are some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world.

If you want to study a VET course, the approximate cost ranges between AUD 1,000 and AUD 2,000 per semester, these being a little cheaper than English courses.

You can also study these courses at a public institution such as TAFE, although prices are somewhat higher, ranging between AUD4,000 and AUD25,000 depending on the course you have chosen.
